I just wanted to stop by and update my blog a little bit.

Firstly, the Gansavoort is no longer.  It is now the The Perry Hotel but that has also closed for a hundred million dollar renovation.  What the hell?  The hotel is fairly new.  Anyway, it will open up as One Hotel South Beach and Residences.  The rooftop, which was my fave in Miami, is also undergoing a mass renovation.

Miami New Times http://www.miaminewtimes.com/ is also a must for all things Miami.  Plus, it's Best Of Miami is also hilarious.

A few people have commented that since I haven't updated in a while, my information is out of date.  Not really true.  I'm still in Miami all the time.  I was in South Beach Tuesday of this week and two days two weeks ago.

However, don't be a dumbass with Priceline and think you'll get four people in a room in South Beach.  Aint.  Gonna.  Happen.  Ever.

A South Beach standard room is about 10x10 and holds a bed.  A double  bed.
